I have my costume for Halloween – a pirate wench, but I’m having trouble with the boots. Since I’ll be on my feet for most of the night, I want to be comfortable. I have some basic black shoes that I want to make boot tops for. I have wide calves, so the store-bought ones don’t fit. Anybody have (inexpensive!) ideas for making tall boot tops? I was thinking of using vinyl fabric and lacing up the back with cord, but I don’t have a pattern.

I’m going to be a pirate wench for Halloween, and the the top of the sleeves are just at the shoulders. The faux corset doesn’t give any support to my girls, it actually pushes them down… I’m hoping to find some good stick-on cups, but I don’t want to spend money on something that doesn’t stop the sag. I have a strapless bra, but the weight from that didn’t do any good. I tried duct tape- ouch! It just makes them look misshapen. I’m a 36D

Hey all! I’m going to be a pirate wench for Halloween this year for going out downtown. How should I do my hair with the costume? I have shoulder-length dark brown hair that is naturally curly, but I usually flat-iron it straight.

I have to play a wench for a play and I don’t know how they act. I have looked online but truly found nothing but clothes for them (because halloween is just around the corner)
How does a wench act? (wench as in a pirate. Like I know Blackbeard.)
How do you think she will die?O__o

I bought the cutest beer wench costume and I’m going to wear it this weekend for a Halloween party. I am going to wear it with white thigh highs, but I don’t know what kind of shoes to wear! I don’t have those chunky heeled lace-up shoes, so I was wondering what you guys could suggest. Thanks!
