He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.
I am in an English Comp course and this is not part of the homework assignment, just curious. My geography teacher told me back in 9th grade, but since then, I have forgotten.
Thank you in advance.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens, taken captive on the high seas, to bear arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends, and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers the merciless INdian Savages, whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all ages.
Please help me, even if you only do a sentence of translating it will help alot!!!

"He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the Executioners of their Friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands."
So basically what I am asking is why, besides morally, was this so wrong that it was worthy of being included in the Declaration?
(I’m not saying it isn’t, I just need some convincing evidence for a speech.)
Please help, and thank you.
Sorry, I meant to post this under "History"…
But still, please help?

I’m looking ot understand one of the 27 Grievences of The Declaration of Independence.
He has constrined our fellow citizens taken captive on the high seas to bear arms against their country, to become executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their hands.
I’m trying to find where this was addressed in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights.

I wonder what exactly this passage from the Declaration of Independence means.
"He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the Executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands."
I know this is one of the reasons that the colonists think that the king is a tyrant. Could you clarify what it means and what it’s refering to? Thanks!
