The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) brought forth the (accidental) release of the Operation Northwoods documents. These documents laid out plainly a covert plan to stage a terror campaign in the USA and vicinity to create a pretext for war on Cuba.

SUMMARY: Operation Northwoods, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Then why do many still think it is absurd to even CONSIDER 9/11 a conspiracy?
They have a civil right to rob, rape and plunder on the high seas and to earn a living in these tough economic times. Should the Navy be held liable for this police action shooting gone wild?
Seems to me it was built as a disaster waiting to happen. I could be wrong. This is not my field.

The high school I attend does not have a JROTC program. However, a school nearby does. I was looking for either a naval or army unit. If I can’t join one of those, I was going to join the Sea Cadet Corps. Is the Sea Cadet Corps considered JROTC, and do the service academies consider it as important as JROTC.
