it sounds like such a derogatory word to describe a female. am i the only one that thinks this?
i did happen to look up the word in the dictionary before i posted this because i heard it being said on the TV so i figured it couldnt be that bad, but it just sounds so awful. i dont think anyone would want to be described as being a wench.

Apparently there was a problem in Israel this summer in the Mediterranean sea because the waves were way too high and it was dangerous to swim or something…can someone affirm this? explain…or a website that could help?
